I wasn’t just part of the entertainment business, I was part of the holy sh*t business

On the path to entertain the human race, I was housed in loyalty marketing and chosen as a future creative leader (a title more selective than a Harvard acceptance NBD). I collaborated on content across on-property marketing teams, corporate social media, public relations and entertainment.


The NBA Legends Dinner was part of the inaugural season of the Las Vegas Aces. Starting as a free throw contest, the experience eventually evolved into a 1-on-1 dinner event. I took the initiative to create the event, get buy-in from my department leadership, property marketing leadership and the Mandalay Bay property president. I also wrote the headline, body copy and press release. Engagement was through owned social media channels, a corporate level landing page and Newsroom, MGM Resort’s internal program for releasing press releases.
